About Lunched
In
case you are un-aware, lunched is a term quite widely
used these days, and not to mean 'had lunch'.
You may use it differently to me, but where I come from
it means either:
1- Lazy, relaxed, easy, chilled out, can't be bothered,
etc.
The word in this context has often been used to describe
me by my friends, and I was voted unofficial 'Luncher of the year
1998'.
Because basically if there's an easier way of doing
something I will find it, and if something is too much
hassle it simply doesn't get done.
2- Wrong, a disaster, if you have lunched something you
have messed it up big time, most of these recipes
were lunched once or twice before I got them right.
Lunched
came about as a way for me to share my passion for
cooking with people and hopefully inspire or help people
to create great tasting food.
The
whole idea of cooking is creating something that you, or
whoever you are cooking for, wants to eat. If in any of
these recipes there is an element you don't like, leave
it out, or try and substitute it for something you do
like. It sounds obvious, but some will just ignore
the recipe completely. Also
if there is something you particularly like, put more in
the recipe.
Use these ideas as outlines for your own
recipes, and create some unique dishes. It's all good
fun.
As you
would expect from 'a lunch' this site is incredibly easy
to use. You simply click on a category on the top, and
the various dishes are displayed on the left, click on
them for the recipes. At
the bottom of each page there is a 'weights and
measures' button, so if any of the amounts aren't what
you usually work in you can convert them there. There
are also links to the 'contact
me' and 'home' pages. These
symbols on pages indicate the following:

A
lot of my recipes fall into these categories,
you are not likely to find lots of red meat or
loads of fatty recipes on this site. |
